Minthis Golf Club, an idyllic retreat, enjoys a historical location in the heart of a 12th century monastery, from which the resort took its name. Its tranquil setting and mesmerising mountain views provide the perfect backdrop for a challenging game of golf. The fairways, lined with mature fruit trees, grapevines and water features swathing through mostly uphill, downhill or side hill slopes with plenty of strategic options.
Minthis Golf Course was originally designed by the acclaimed golf architect Donald Steel in 1994 and blends effortlessly into its natural surroundings. In 2006 the golf course was renovated by world renowned course designers Mackenzie & Ebert, whom also completed a greens renovation in late 2020. Minthis is the first golf club in Cyprus awarded as GEO Certified with a distinction recognising eco-friendly approach and commitment to sustainability.
At an altitude of 550m above sea level, it’s a course for all seasons, enjoying cool breezes even during the summer. An undoubted highlight is the stunning par-three, 15th signature hole, where the tee shot is played to the only island green in Cyprus. Minthis is a walkable golf course that will challenge and delight players of all abilities.
